Fall Decorating
It's almost officially fall and I am so excited, despite that it's still 90 degrees here. I have learned that the temperature really makes no difference. You are officially allowed to decorate for fall when the calendar says September. If you're really anxious, you can decorate for September in August. Either way, if you live in the South, you should not feel bad about decorating for fall even ... View Post
Summer is Here!
Hi y'all! I've always said this as a joke because Northwesterners like us do not say "y'all", but I am just now learning that if you refuse to speak "Southern", you may find yourselves with some miscommunications with Southerners over this very word. The Countdown

I can't wait to post pictures of it (and our other projects), and hopefully meet you at our shop! Things have evolved in the past few months so much that it's hard to keep up! I would love to give you an ... View Post
What’s Hot for Spring
It feels like spring here in the South, thanks to temperatures in the 70's! Winters are short here in Tennessee, but the arrival of spring is still much appreciated. Today I saw buds on one of our trees and heard birdies chirping (before the rain sent them packing). It won't be long before we find out if the dogwood we planted last year survived the winter. Our beloved pink flowering tree died ... View Post
