Holly Thompson, Master's Interior Design, Savannah College of Art & Design
Holly specializes in luxury kitchens and interiors. She holds a Master’s Degree in Interior Design from the #1 interior design school in the nation, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Her work has been nationally featured multiple times in American Farmhouse Style magazine, and she is frequently quoted by the magazine as a design expert.
With a design studio loft in Franklin’s Five Points corner across from Starbucks, Holly enjoys creating spaces for clients in one of Franklin’s most iconic locations. Holly has been awarded Best of Franklin for kitchen design in 2022, 2021, 2020, and 2019.
Because of her natural design eye and years of education, Holly is able to understand and excel in many different design styles. She listens carefully to the client in order to interpret their vision and bring it to life. She also pays close attention to the feel and style of the existing architecture in their home in order to either enhance it or find ways to change it that are still cohesive with the home’s overall style. Holly focuses on timeless and thoughtful design that is perfectly up to the moment but will last far into the future.

While Holly was studying for her Master’s Degree she studied biophilic design, historic preservation, historic and modern architecture, design theory, environmental psychology for interior design, and much more. These areas of study have made Holly an expert in the field of interior design which she applied to her thesis on solutions for space planning for livability in residential interiors.
In addition to earning a Master’s Degree in Interior Design from the top interior design school in the nation, her design work has been featured nationally. Holly has also written almost 40 articles for American Farmhouse Style Magazine.
